Your Corda tour at La Chaux-du-Dombief
Discover the Via Corda at Pic de l’Aigle in La Chaux-du-Dombief, in the heart of the Jura Mountains. This high-altitude trail, situated opposite the famous Pic de l’Aigle, combines hiking, walking along rock faces and sections of climbing.
Under the guidance of your guide, you’ll make your way in a rope team along narrow paths clinging to the cliff face. Well-placed handholds make the most technical sections easier, whilst preserving the route’s natural and wild character. Near the Cascades du Hérisson, the environment is unspoilt and rarely visited.
Throughout the walk, you can enjoy unobstructed views of the Pic de l’Aigle and the Dôle. The area is also renowned for its wildlife: it is not uncommon to spot chamois.
