What to bring
For your ice-canyoning, winter via ferrata and snowshoe hiking activities, you will need to bring the following basic personal equipment:
- Sports shoes: trainers or hiking boots – available for hire.
- Small rucksack: for carrying your water bottle and personal belongings.
- Water bottle: 1 litre per person or more.
- Picnic: for day trips only.
- Swimwear: short or long – the choice is yours – For ice canyoning only
- Mountain biking gloves: not essential but definitely comfortable – For winter via ferrata only – Available to hire.
- Waterproof camera or GoPro: Available for hire.
Please note: Water shoes, Crocs, jelly shoes and moon boots are not permitted.

Allow 3 hours for half-day outdoor activities and 5½ to 6 hours for full-day outings.
I wear glasses – can I take part?
Of course! Make sure you bring a cord. Your guide will explain how to keep them from getting lost or damaged. Ideally, bring an old pair. Better still, wear contact lenses if you can.
What if the weather is bad?
The guide may change the itinerary. If the activity cannot go ahead, we will reschedule it for another day. If this is not possible, we will cancel it. In that case, you will receive a full refund.
