The advanced climbing crags in Saint Claude

Orno

Located in Saint-Claude, the Orno crag offers short, challenging and technical routes with both slight and very steep overhangs. It is in the shade in the morning and evening.

The Marais Slabs

Located above Saint Claude, the Dalles du Marais site offers long, vertical routes. It is in the shade in the afternoon.

Saint Romain

Located near Moirans-en-Montagne, the Saint Romain site offers fairly short routes that are vertical and slightly overhanging. It is in the shade in the afternoon.

I’ve climbed before, but I’m not yet confident enough to climb unaided – is this climbing course right for me?

No, this course is aimed at experienced climbers. If you’re a beginner, you’re better off choosing a climbing course in Mijoux or Moirans.

How long should I allow for this?

I don’t have room in my suitcase to pack my climbing gear.

No problem, we’ll lend you all the equipment. Do try to bring your own climbing shoes, though. If that’s not possible, we’ll lend you some – we have all sizes available.

What if the weather is bad?

The guide may change the itinerary. If the activity cannot go ahead, we will reschedule it for another day. If this is not possible, we will cancel it. In that case, you will receive a full refund.
